Shirley’s Place was a small neighborhood corner bar located in Laureldale, owned and operated by Shirley M. Turner for 44 years. She closed the bar in 2011, shortly before her passing in 2012. This was not the end of Shirley’s! Michael Pullano, former owner of The Pike Cafe, reopened the once 25-seat Shirley’s Place in 2014 as a transformed and expanded southwestern experience. The only tequila bar in Berks – Shirley’s Cafe & Tequila Bar.

January of 2022 Michael decided to pass the the torch to new Danny DiStefano and Vince DiStefano, Berks County locals that will continue to bring a unique southwestern-inspired menu and a large selection of signature drinks, tequila flights, and daily specials to Laureldale, PA.
